The Cresset theatre in Bretton is delighted to announce this years’ family pantomime – Snow White , which for 2008 is being staged in conjunction again with the acclaimed production company Premier Pantomimes.

The Cresset is Peterborough's Multi-purpose theatre, Conference and community venue offering a wide range of services including live entertainment, delightful function rooms for Corporate, private and community use, as well as dance and drama classes, workshops, a terrific cafe, public house with restaraunt, bars and specialist shops all under one roof!

The Cresset was opened by HRH the Queen in 1978 and funded by Peterborough Development Corporation. We are a registered charity with a commercial trading company which covenants its profits back to the charity annually to help maintain the facilities. The charity also as a resource centre housing partner organisations who run services from our site -2 miles west of the City Centre.

The Charity’s objectives are….

...'to advance education and to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time occupation, in order to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Bretton Township in particular and the neighbourhood of Greater Peterborough in general, with particular emphasis on provision for young people, the elderly and disabled.
