Ticket refund protection is available at point of purchase through our partnership with Booking Protect. Click here for more information.

Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged unless a performance is cancelled.

Third Party sale is prohibited without permission from The Cresset.

Tickets found for sale without the venues permission will render the tickets invalid.

We ask all customers to be cautious about purchasing tickets from third party resale sites as these can be sold fraudulently and may not be valid for entry.

If a show is rescheduled, your tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date and we will contact you by email, or letter if we do not have an email address.

In the event of a show being cancelled, all customers are entitled to a full refund. Depending on the time elapsed since booking, we may need to contact you to process this. We will do this by email where possible, and by post if we do not have a valid email address for you.

If we do not hear from you, your refund will remain open for a period of 14 days from the cancellation date. After this time we will allocate your payment to our donations fund which goes to supporting our performing arts programme for young people. Should you wish to claim your refund after the 14-day period has elapsed, we will issue the full amount less booking fees in the form of a gift voucher which can be exchanged for future purchases.

For your protection and in accordance with the new GDPR regulations, we only take your address / telephone number / email address in order that we can:

  • Contact you in the event of cancellation
  • Authorise a credit or debit card transaction
  • Post your tickets
  • Keep you informed of our future events
  • We will not share your information with a third party unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

ARRIVING LATE

If you arrive late for the start of a performance or after an interval we appreciate that you will want to take your seat as soon as possible.  We will do everything possible to assist.  To limit disturbance to fellow audience members and artists we may have to ask you to wait until a suitable break in the performance. Occasionally this may not be possible once the performance has started.

During shows there is a vending stall within the theatre foyer selling soft drinks, sweets, crisps and ice creams.  Also within this area is a bar selling alcoholic drinks.

However it should be pointed out that on some occasions alcoholic drinks are not allowed into the auditorium.

At no time is glass or hot food allowed into the auditorium.
