Nativity! The Musical

Staged November 2023, Nativity! The Musical was a full scale musical production, produced by The Cresset. Directed by Stuart Morrison and Monique Benoiton-Smith, the creative team behind last year’s pantomime Peter Pan, Nativity! starred 80 talented young performers who auditioned over the summer.

Over 200 young people auditioned, and we were blown away by the talent on display. We hope the experience was a valuable one for those who were unsuccessful and will continue to strive to offer free and accessible opportunities in the future.

This was a completely free opportunity for the young people involved, and feedback from the young people and their parents was overwhelmingly positive – as was feedback from the 2,000 people who came to watch the show! We believe every young person should be able to participate in performing arts.
