Now that 2020 has been and gone, we’re sure you could all do with a good laugh – luckily, here at The Cresset, we’ve got the perfect shows for that!
After the huge success of our previous socially distanced Comedy Clubs we are so excited to be hosting two more instalments this May! As before, this event has been specially adapted to comply with social distancing regulations for indoor events. We’ll also have the usual top quality line up of comics from our friends at Off The Kerb – to be announced soon!
The Cresset Comedy Club has been entertaining audiences since 1998, and has welcomed some of the nation’s biggest comedians over the years – before they became household names. It’s a real treasure trove of comedy gold and undiscovered talent!
The last socially distanced Comedy Club back in October was a complete sell-out, so be sure you book your tickets early!
Meanwhile, we have two new comedians on sale this month who we are very excited to welcome to our stage! First up is Reginald D. Hunter – the searingly honest and brutally funny voice of his generation. The US comic is back with a brand new show and there’s no time for niceties – Reginald is uniquely placed to commentate on the unfolding meltdown of life as we know it with his usual brand of unadulterated comedy. His new show, Bombe Shuffleur, is on sale now and comes to The Cresset in April 2022.
And on 31st March (that’s next Wednesday!) the one and only Nish Kumar is going on sale with his brand new show – Control! Nish is best known as the host of the Mash Report, as well as his other appearances on Live at the Apollo, Taskmaster, Netflix’s Comedians of the World, QI, Conan and The News. Make sure you don’t miss out!
