The Cresset is Peterborough’s foremost wedding venue, with three elegant function suites ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Your celebration can be as formal or relaxed as you wish, we are happy to cater for any event, from small buffet-style receptions, through to a sumptuous sit-down meal for 300 guests. The size and flexibility of The Sovereign Hall makes The Cresset a popular choice for large Asian weddings, whilst The Fitzwilliam and Gallery suites are ideal for smaller-scale receptions. The secluded wedding garden provides the perfect setting to capture memories to cherish for years to come.

A dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be on hand to assist you at every stage from the initial planning to the smooth running of events on the day itself. Your wedding co-ordinator can advise you on choice of room, menu selection and seating plans, through to cutting the cake, bridal favours and table decorations. You may wish to arrange your own band or disco, or we can take care of booking evening entertainment on your behalf. We can also advise on photographers, wedding cars, florists and any finishing touches you require to make your wedding day a day to remember.
