After an incredible response from our audition process, we are thrilled to reveal our fantastic adult cast for School Of Rock – The Musical!
Suitable for the whole family, School of Rock is a heart-warming, uplifting show full of the spirit of rock, and starring a talented cast of local young performers. With 4 adult cast members and a professional production team including Director Stuart Morrison, Director / Choreographer Monique Benoiton-Smith and Musical Director Adam Pallister, this show will rock your socks off!
Becky is so excited to be playing the role of Rosalie (Miss Mullins) in School of Rock! She studied Acting at UCA in Farnham and is currently represented by Red Talent Management. She has performed in various shows and showcases such as: Romeo & Juliet, BLANK, Ghost The Musical as well as having the opportunity to perform at The National Theatre, London. She can’t wait to bring this show to life!
Adam Farrington is Ned Schneebly! Since graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a first class degree in Music Theatre, Adam has performed in many productions local to Peterborough. Most of these have been with Westwood Musical Theatre Society, which he has been a part of for almost six years – playing Lancelot in Spamalot, Eddie in Made in Dagenham, Jack in Death by Design, and performed most recently in Westwood through the Years. He has also performed with Emcee productions and last year Adam played Gordon Shakespeare in The Cresset’s production of Nativity!. What Adam loves most about all of these performances I have been lucky enough to take part in, is the bond that is forged as a cast and crew. It’s something that makes each show memorable and in every show, the audience has commented to Adam that they can feel the support of each other coming through in the performance, which is a huge compliment. Adam can’t wait to get stuck in to this role and enjoy what is bound to be another memorable production for all.
Playing Ned’s girlfriend, Patty, it’s Emily Norman! Emily trained at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, graduating with a Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2022. During her training, she performed in musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors as Crystal and Sweet Charity as the understudy of Charity. Since then, she has worked for productions in immersive theatre, as a vocalist and as children’s entertainer in London and Peterborough. Recently, she has been working as a Performing Arts Support Officer within The Cresset; hoping to increase opportunities for young people in theatre.
And of course, playing Peterborough’s answer to Jack Black – the ROCKING Dewey Finn – it’s Charlie Russell! Charlie got into acting by studying Drama and Performing Arts at A-Level, and then went on to graduate University with a BA Honours in Performing Arts. Since then he has taken on roles in many shows, most recently playing Frank Spencer in Some Mother’s Do ‘Ave ‘Em. Charlie has also played the role of Carl in Ghost the Musical, Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard Of Oz, to name a few. Outside of theatre, Charlie is also a solo artist and has written and released multiple albums, available on all major platforms. He has recently started writing songs and music for other artists, musicals and shows. Charlie is so excited to be performing in this show, and he can’t wait to bring it to life for everyone to see.
