Panto Stars set to appear at Peterborough Lights Switch On

Stars of this year’s pantomime, Beauty & the Beast will be getting on the Christmas spirits tomorrow, 19th November, as they join a host of other acts and PCR presenter Kev Lawrence live on stage in Cathedral Square at the city’s Christmas lights Switch On!

First Dates’ Grant Urquhart who plays Silly Billy, and irrepressible dame Tony Howes as Nurse Jackie Oo’LaLa will be joined by some of our talented local dancers to perform live on the stage in Peterborough town centre tomorrow evening.

The show starts at 5pm, with the Beauty & the Beast crew taking to the stage at 6.40, just before the big button push at 7pm. Expect a fantastic selection of local entertainment and plenty of festive cheer. Grant and Tony will also be available for photo opportunities at The Entertainer toyshop on Bridge Street before they hit the stage, so get there early and pop along to say hello! The Entertainer will be staying open to 7pm for the occasion, and will be raffling off a Family Ticket to the show on the night!

Wrap up warm, and remember to stay covid-safe in crowds – we’ll see you there!
