The Production Team
Greg Pichery
Artistic Director
Greg trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts.
Over the past 18 years Greg has performed in the West End, on National UK Tours and in Repertory Theatre, of which his performing credits include: Phil Dolan II in "On Your Toes", Smee in "Peter Pan", Mr Sowerberry in Oliver!", Roscoe Dexter in "Singin' in the Rain", Chino in "West Side Story", Uncle Henry in "The Wizard of Oz", Harry the Horse in "Guys and Dolls", "The Sound of Music" & "Calamity Jane", all for director Paul Kerryson at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre.
Other credits include: Swing and Dance Captain on "Peter Pan - A Musical Adventure" (Royal Festival Hall). Dermah & Etienne in "La Cage Aux Folles" 2002 UK Tour. Alphonse Dubois in "Divorce me, Darling!" (Chichester Festival Theatre) which won the 1997 TMA award for Best Musical. "42nd Street" (Dominion Theatre, London, Original UK Touring Production & 1997 UK Tour). "Calamity Jane" (Sadler's Wells Theatre & 1996 UK Tour). "Guys and Dolls" (Festival Theatre, Edinburgh). "My One and Only in Concert" (London Palladium). "Mother Goose" (Theatre Royal, York). "Cinderella" (Cliffs Pavilion, Southend). "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (Palace Theatre, Manchester & Theatre Royal, Nottingham). "Aladdin" Civic Hall, Camberley. He can also be heard on TER recordings of "West Side Story" & "Divorce Me, Darling!"
Greg's most recent work has seen him as Assistant Choreographer on "Follies" (Royal Festival Hall) & "Garbo the Musical" (Stockholm, Sweden). Also as Associate Choreographer on "On Your Toes" (Royal Festival Hall, 2004 Japanese Tour & Leicester Haymarket Theatre) & "Singin' in the Rain" at Sadler's Wells Theatre, the latter three projects with Royal Ballet star Adam Cooper. Greg also choreographed "The Wizard of Oz" (RSC Version) which was the final in-house production at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre. He was a guest teacher on E4's Performing Arts School. Greg teaches musical theatre, jazz and tap at Leicester College of Performing Arts and Stella Mann College, Bedford.
Jonathan Rees
Musical Director
Whilst studying a music degree at Durham University, Jonathan became musical director of Hatfield College, conducting the choirs & orchestras, & also directing and appearing in many plays, musicals & operas. He then studied a Postgraduate Advanced Performance Diploma at The Royal College of Music in Repetiteur Studies. Since then he has taught singing at Cameron Mackintosh’s Saigon School, The Royal Academy of Music and is currently Head of Singing at Stella Mann College. He regularly performs as a singer, pianist & musical director & having recently completed an MA in Music with Distinction, he is currently working for a PhD with the Open University.
