Peterborough is situated some eighty miles north of London and has excellent road and rail connections with the Midlands, East Anglia and the South East which are easily reached via the A1, M1, M11 or A47.

Once in Peterborough The Cresset itself is easily approached from any direction by the use of the City's extensive network of 'Urban Motorways' (parkways) making it one of Europe's best planned inner city road systems. A short distance from the City Centre and railway station, Bretton can be reached easily by public transport or by taxi.

If you are travelling from the north or the south along the A1(M) follow the signs for Sleaford (A15) and you will pick up signs for The Cresset. The Cresset is also clearly signposted when you are travelling east or west bound along the A47
